Luxury mobile phone maker Vertu will open the doors of its first Japanese shop on February 19th, 2009 in Ginza, Tokyo. From opening day reservations will be taken for Vertu's three newest model phones models "Signature," "Ascent Ti," and "Ascent Ti Ferrari."
The phones are expected to be available for use at the beginning the second quarter of 2009. Membership in the Vertu Club, one of Vertu's premium services will also become effective at that time.
The 4 story Vertu building in Ginza will feature a sales floor on the first floor, a private customer lounge on the second floor and a customer service area on the third floor.
The sales area's interior design has been fashioned in the colors of one of the Vertu models, black and white. Upon entry, customers are able to pick up and try out any Vertu model they please. The second floor, fashioned in red and white with leather couches allows customers to relax while they shop for their preferred phone. The third floor's customer service area offers repairs, tends to service and general customer inquiries and offers a place to chat with other customers and Vertu staff.
