IHG-ANA Hotel group re-opened their Fukuoka facility under the ANA-Crowne Plaza brand on December 4, 2008. IHG-ANA is the Japan based venture between global hotel operator InterContinental Hotel Group (IHG) and Japan based All Nippon Airways Hotels (ANA). ANA-Crowne Plaza concept combines the globally recognized service standards of the Crowne Plaza brand with the genuinely Japanese trust and reliability inherent in the ANA Hotel brand. The re-branded Fukuoka hotel aims to raise service levels and become the market leader in the Kyushu area.
Specifically, ANA-Crowne Plaza Fukuoka is standardizing bedding arrangements and guestroom settings to be inline with global Crowne-Plaza service standards, and seeking to introduce new service levels to the local market. For example, a specialized event planning and management team is now available to support the operation of functions ranging from banquets to weddings.
In addition, on December 1st, all ANA-Crowne Plaza locations simultaneously introduced the "ANA-Crowne Plaza Wedding" service. This multi-feature concept will introduce ideas designed for brides, grooms, and their guests. It is designed to offer a high level of specialized, personal service separate from the range of services offered to other customers. The "ANA-Crowne Plaza Wedding" service also includes customer web support, to guarantee sufficient attention is given to the entire needs of each party.
In addition to the previously mentioned services, ANA-Crowne Plaza hotel group plans to successively feature additional offerings designed to improve customers' experiences.
