The Osaka ANA Hotel has announced the October 1st opening of the ANA Crown Plaza Osaka hotel as part of their 25th anniversary commemoration. This year is a turning point for the hotel, and to mark the occasion the hotel will undergo some major changes, including re-branding and remodeling into an international standard luxury hotel. The remodeling will begin at the end of June, starting with the guest rooms, and will soon be followed by large scale renovations in other areas of the hotel.
One of the standout features of the newly branded hotel will be the main lobby with the remodeling lead by French designer Gwenael Nicolas of Curiosity Inc. In addition to the modern luxury design of the main lobby, the new hotel will have additional features such as a bridal lounge and a "Club Floor", a new facility for special use by guests.
The remodeling and re-branding of the hotel is a cooperative venture between IHG-ANA Hotels Group Japan and luxury hotel brand Crown Plaza and is the 7th hotel as part of a six city plan between the two companies which began late last year. In addition to the Osaka location, other locations in Japan are scheduled for opening this year, including the Okinawa Harbor View hotel. The cooperative venture for re-branding ANA's hotels as luxury or high-end hotels includes more than 40 establishments with approximately 12,000 rooms across Japan.
