Louis Vuitton to open flagship store in Japan

On LVJ Group KK, which imports and sells products made by French luxury brand Louis Vuitton, unveiled plans recently to open their flagship store in 2010 in Tokyo's posh Ginza district.

The store has a prime location among other high-end luxury brand stores and chic restaurants along the very fashionable Harumi Street. Rivaling the flagship Paris headquarters store as the largest in the world, the new LVJ store will add to Ginza's advancement as the leading market location for luxury brands and goods.

The building LVJ will be moving into is scheduled for completion in fall 2010, and will have 4 underground levels and 12 above-ground floors. Louis Vuitton will occupy the first 10 floors, with the upper levels being used for fine dinning.
