Brand Value Ranking of Japanese Companies Released

Interbrand Japan, a subsidiary of Interbrand Inc. of the U.S., has released its 2025 ranking of the brand value of Japanese companies.

The ranking is the result of converting corporate brand values into monetary values based on expected profits over the next five years or so.

Toyota is at the top of the ranking, and has been for 17 consecutive years.

Other brands that have made significant gains in the rankings include ASICS (46th), Hitachi (26th), Mitsui Fudosan, ORIX, and Tokyo Electron.

In addition, “Itochu,” “Don Quijote,” “SBI,” “ANA,” and “Marugame Seimen” were also ranked in the list, all with a valuation of approximately $300 million.

The top 10 in the ranking are as follows

  1. Toyota
  2. honda
  3. Sony
  4. Uniqlo
  5. Nissan
  6. Nintendo
  7. Panasonic
  8. MUFG
  9. NTT Docomo
  10. Softbank

It is said that the evaluation of the business integration of Honda and Nissan is not reflected in the ranking.
